Studies in Geography (Prace i Studia Geograficzne) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw. In years 1964-1977 the journal was known as the Studies in Geography of the Department of Geography of Warsaw UniversityStudies in Geography publishes the articles in the field of physical and socio-economic geography as well as those from interrelated sciences, such as environmental protection, spatial management and palaeogeography. The journal publishes original research papers –  theoretical, empirical, methodical and review-articles.

Rules of ethics
The editorial office of the journal documents all manifestations of scientific misconduct, including violations of ethics in science. Any detected instances of scientific misconduct will be exposed, including notification of relevant entities (institutions employing authors, scientific societies, scientific editorial associations, etc.).
The author submitting an article for publication is required to confirm compliance with ghostwriting and guest authorship policies and to sign a copyright transfer agreement. Attestation of the aforementioned state of affairs and consent to publication on the basis of a free, unlimited time and the territorially non-exclusive license is required from the author. The publication agreement comes into force at the time of approval of the text for editing (after two positive reviews and a decision by the editor or editorial committee). The copyright transfer agreement provides the legal basis for the publication of the article in Studies in Geography .
